Select Harvests’ geographically diverse almond orchards are at or near maturity. Located in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales our portfolio includes 9,262 hectares (22,886 acres) of company owned, leased and joint venture almond orchards.
These orchards, plus other independent orchards, supply our state-of-the-art processing facility at Carina West in north-west Victoria. This facility has the capacity to process 22,000 metric tonnes of almonds in the peak season. The processing plant is capable of meeting the ever increasing demand for both in-shell and kernel product. It also produces a full range of premium quality blanched almonds including whole blanched, slivered, sliced and diced almonds. Our product development activities also include roasting, flavouring, cutting and blending to meet the needs of both retail and industrial requirements.
Our market leading brands in the wholesale and industrial markets are Renshaw and Allinga Farms. The name ‘Allinga’ originates from the indigenous language meaning sun. Almonds grown under the Australian sun have an international reputation for consistent quality.
Select Harvests is one of Australia’s largest almond exporters and continues to build strong relationships in the fast growing markets of India and China, as well as maintaining established routes to markets in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
