Almonds versatility driving consumption growth

During 2022, almonds were included as an ingredient in new products launched in more than 50 subcategories. The top five were cakes, pastries & sweet goods; sweet biscuits & cookies; snack nuts and seeds; cold cereal and cereal and energy bars.

The combined Dairy-Alternative category including drinks, yogurt, cheese, ice cream and frozen yoghurt remain an important contributor to global consumption growth.
